A gift for a young reader
Give them something to tell you about.
A police dog with a camera. A robot running a race. The Comic Scoop turns Singapore and world news into weekly comics for children aged 9–12.
Choose a gift subscription for your niece, nephew, grandchild or family friend. They can read each issue by email or in the app, then tell you which story caught their attention.
Choose a giftYou pay once. The gift does not renew automatically.
Take a look inside
Science, wildlife and news from Singapore and beyond, told through comics. Each issue includes explanations of unfamiliar words alongside the stories.
Choose how long to give
Every option includes the same weekly digital comics. The subscription starts after payment, so buy near the day you want to give it.
These are digital subscriptions. We do not post a printed comic or gift box.
How your gift works
Use the parent’s email for delivery
Checkout asks for your details and the recipient’s name and email. For a child, agree with their parent which email address to use. That address receives the welcome email and weekly issues, and is used to sign in.
Buying for a birthday?
The welcome email is sent after payment. Checkout does not offer a future delivery date or a gift-message field. If you want to keep it a surprise, arrange the timing with the parent before buying.
When the gift ends
The welcome email includes the end date. Gift access lasts for the number of months you bought, and there is no automatic renewal charge. You receive a separate purchase confirmation.
If the family already subscribes, email us before buying so we can help with the dates.
Buying for your own household?
You can also choose a monthly subscription that renews until you cancel.
